Chris Brown ’91 set up Record Store Day in 2008, nearly two decades after helping fellow Bowdoin grad Brett Wickard ’90 set up Bull Moose Music in Brunswick – now a chain of 12 record stores across Maine and New Hampshire. Since then Record Store Day, which is billed a celebration of independent record stores everywhere, has grown into an international event featuring live concerts and record releases from some of the top names in musical entertainment.
