Bowdoin’s Russian and Theater departments are collaborating for a pair of events Friday and Saturday designed to re-examine the work of Anton Chekhov. Alongside his role as a renowned dramatist, the Russian playwright will be considered as a philosopher. The program gets underway Friday afternoon (4/1) when guest lecturer Yuri Corrigan, from Boston University, is delivering a lecture to “explore Chekhov’s work as a guide to the world of Russian philosophy.”
